With the new site layout, is there a way to check a list of all the commendations here on the site? I went to my halo 4 service record and saw “commendations” there, but I don’t know how to view an actual list of all of them.
you may need to play first, maybe? just guessing.
I Think it is only visible on the xbox right now.

HERE is a video going through all the commendations. I’ve already viewed it and I do not think there are any spoilers. Unless you consider the campaign level names and enemy infantry names as spoilers.
If you do not want to view the list. There are commendations for every weapon, every game type, every vehicle, every enemy type and every medal (medals are combined under different commendations).
