I didn’t know people still use the word “noob” anymore. Either i’m getting older or Halo’s fans are getting younger.
I was just doing a search for commendations for Halo 4 and found your post. IDK, I think they are kind of fun. Kind of like achievements, they help give me something to shoot for.
I think they were alright, it was just a little something extra on the side to be working on and REWARDED on while you played the game.
Also it indicated what kind of a player you are

They were alright. It gives me a reason to play Firefight (without the Daily Challenges).
However, the challenges in Halo 4 may be like commendations.

Nothing gives me reason to play firefight.
They seemed pretty seamless in Halo Reach. I really don’t care if they come back or not.
They weren’t affecting gameplay, and they weren’t a problem. If somebody is going to boost Campaign is their problem and it doesn’t affect you.
I think Commendations are just fine.
Really? People complain about how they think people were ruining multiplayer by boosting for the achievements, so now there’s no good multiplayer achievements, but no one comments on how commendations were boosted alllll the damn time? Regardless, I enjoy Commendations, just like how I loved the multiplayer achievements. There just better be ones for scoring flags, holding the oddball, etc b.c. it’s ridiculous they weren’t included in Reach, IMO.
I think they’re fun.
