Well I am pretty confident now that there is a commendation cap that has been put into place. I noticed about a month ago that if you reach your credit limit per day, that afterwards if you receive any additional kills in your following games you will receive zero commendation progress.
I can confirm this through my friends list, personal experience, and also my brother’s account. If you reach the credit cap you will not receive any commendations until your credits reset for the next day.
It kind of sucks to have not only a credit cap but also a commendation cap.
Are you really playing enough in a singe day to max out both the credits and commendations?

Confirmed…as per your post about a month ago.
This is just one of the now many issues concerning this game since the ver 1.1 update.
It’s bad enough to hit the Credit Cap, but something else not to be able to play, and earn Comm’s, and work on those, regardless of the Credits earned.
Basically, hit the Credit Cap and play something else for the rest of the day now…Good Job 343, way to keep that population a growing…
I don’t hit the credit cap every day. I think you are missing the point.
If you are a high rank you hit the credit cap very quickly, with challenges etc. If you are an inheritor, who just likes to play for commendations what kind of incentive do you have to keep playing?
This commendation cap was obviously put into place on purpose though.

Go amuse yourself by betraying people in Living Dead. That’s what I did while I was still trying to get that crazy achievement while being commendation frozen. There’s always something to do in this game.
In any case, they better fix this in the January update. Why it should take an entire month to fix a serious problem like this with no acknowledgment of the commendation freezing going on is beyond me.

Exactly. It’s insane!!!
I noticed my assassin isn’t getting any progress at all anymore and its only silver.

That’s why ever since I hit Inheritor I’ve pretty much stopped “trying” to gain any of the Daily Challenges and just work for several hours a day on Commendations - because there IS a cap in place which prevents you from earning cR and Commendations.
On my way from Forerunner through Reclaimer to Inheritor I saw that cap almost 4-times a week playing only about 3-4 hours a night. It was even worse once you hit Reclaimer as I was earning nearly 8-10k per FF Arcade game. I was Time Zone changing a LOT and then having to keep track of it so that I didn’t mess something up one day.
I can understand the Credit cap. But seriously … a Commendation cap is just asinine! Once you hit Inheritor, it’s all you have to work on! I am at 93% (92% on my console) with only one Campaign, 2 Firefight and 7 Matchmaking left to hit Onyx, even though I am hoping to max-out as many FF ones as I can just for the fun of seeing all those “flaming” commendations.
Something needs to change!

Right. They had no business capping Inheritors at all in the first place. There was always a separate cap above and below General. They’re just too lazy to rig one for us. Despite this insanity, I got 100% today. I’d like to max everything, so they better fix this.
