Am no pal. felt I felt it performed better.
As in i felt it handled better.
You might scroll up there and see how I noted later that I seperated definitions for feel and performance for sake of clarity.
But that was after my initial reply.
The one you quoted here cherry picking strawman
Edit even the quote you took in full shows I made no claims on statistics hahha
Because there were so many myths people believed, some even believed Halo didn’t have aim assist, believed AA was only active when the radicle was red. So many myths it was crazy.
Ok, I really have no idea what you’re on about. I said it doesn’t work as good on KBM, you said you never denied or confirmed that. You said what you said, I didn’t “hand pick” your quote, I quoted exactly what you said. My whole topic was BR vs Commando in SWAT, and you said…
You’re confirming that you feel it’s better with KBM, no?
Look man. Its all there in plain english. Not sure what you want from I can not make it any simpler.
Might just be a reading comprehension issue going off other interactions in this thread.
So go back read the conversation in full and you should mame sensenof it all then.
I think the commando is more enjoyable to use with a mouse and ive explained why at length.
I dont have the energy to repeat myself further dude.
I didnt intend this to read as condescending so apologies for that but too lazy to reword it now.
Just reread, you’ll see the distinction causing the confusion then k.
Nice little myth busters btw. Some of those rumours are really funny.
Also purely happenstance but the change in how aiming works in halo that I spoke briefly on earlier, the thread: why aiming sucks.
The OP linked a series of videos that actually explain that quiet well youd probably find them interesting.
It also ties into why if a shift in engines is happening why UE is the most sensible choice from a business perspective at this time.
But dude made some great charts that explain the data far better than I could on waypoint with limited tools.
So check that out for sure if you want to get some perspective on how we actually build weapon handling in an engine and how its tuned in halo specifically.
Guy put in lots of work.
I’ve seen the videos, I think he made three videos about it. Hypocrite much? Talking about some guy on the internet?
Anyway, like I said I agree with a lot of what he came up with but not all of it. Like the headshot priority. Doesn’t dismiss the accuracy buff controller receives. His videos make it seem like controller is at a disadvantage, which is far from it. Controller vs controller, is player vs player. KBM vs KBM, is player vs player. Controller vs KBM, in-game auto aim vs player.
It seems you arent actually responding to what people say as you are having difficulty taking in the information shared with you.
I went and looked up that mint blitz dudes video and it was the same there.
Leaps in logic from what information was provided and interpretation.
All I did was mention a resource that provided something well articulated that you may find worthwhile?
I never said there was something wrong with citing online personalities?
Nor did I form any opinions based on that content.
They simply deliver the data in a well structured manner.
There is quite literally no hypocrisy in my response.
We could convert this back and forth into a boolean argumentative logic gate and I know that my statements can be proven as true and internally consistent. 1s all round.
Its clear you dont have much experience in developing games I merely noticed that another thread had provided a good resource for a basic explanation of halos aiming mechanics.
It should be quite clear to you that it wasnt provided aa evidence for my arguement.
I had stated I had moved on from said arguement.
This combative approach to discourse seems to be leading to your misinterpretation of what others say.
And it hinders you when having a discussion.
Please don’t needlessly highlight a gap in @BurningWidow 's knowledge.
For one they were correct in asserting thatost users would never consider any of that stuff.
And they showed you respect while doing so.
You could have Some still believe without pulling them back into the conversation.
Further, we are all ignorant.
Just in different ways.
Its not fair to use someone as an example.
And it is unwise to do so when the same could so easily be done you.
Ive worn many hats in my career but I’ll never for example make an example of a QA professional or a python author because they would make me a fool in an instant.
Much better to learn from eachother than try and “win”
A discussion.
I can’t be bothered to reply to all your other BS, but I wasn’t highlighting any gaps or calling anyone out in particular. Simply showing that people still believe in the myths/BS created by roller players.
Not using “someone” as an example, I’m using what someone still thinks to be true as an example.
Do it, go ahead. Debates are debates but facts are facts. You talk about hand picking or cherry picking, what holds more value to you. The aiming in halo vids compared to other Halo’s or the reddit stats that show aim assist gives/gave an insane buff on controller vs KBM?
That was done a YEAR AGO and no word from 343, at all. No tuning, at all. I’m hearing gossip about an update coming next month to KBM, but it’s just gossip. Nothing from 343 themselves.
Like I said in my pervious post and topics, if KBM had an insane accuracy buff I would be fighting for the other side, aka rollers.
Just imagine if it was the other way around
Who cares about how it felt in pervious Halo’s, this is Halo today. It’s not like you can play any of the older Halo’s with Infinite. Regardless if Halo Infinite’s aiming on sticks sucks compared to pervious Halo’s, it was enough to rid of the KBM players.
