Why is this armor set so hard to unlock I have to play team objective just to get a chance to play domination. This makes the armor set hard to unlock most people don’t even have the set let alone know about it.

343i Did rotational playlists during the first two years this game was out. During that time, Dominion was on the main playlists twice. On the game launch, the better version of Dominion was out, allowing players to truely test their combat skills and intellect to protect and take bases, making the gametype one that required skill and a good team. When it was re-released, it was released as Dominion Lite(or light), which was a lesser version, toning Dominion down to the level of the other Halo 4 gametypes and making it harder to earn UNSC ordnance weapon commedations.
You’ll have to now vote in Team Objective to try to get it unfortunately to try to get it, as Dominion Lite was a flop (The re-release should have been the first Dominion, not Dominion Lite). I know 343 on one of the 343 day events gave out the Commando Helmet for anybody who played a game on that day, but the full set will still have to be unlocked through Dominion, unless of course you want to master the Flood gametype, in which you unlock the FRCT variant of Commando Armor.
You always could get a party of people to play Dominion with in Team Objective on and off until you unlock the armor, just a suggestion.

The Halo 4 Commando is ugly. The Reach and now Halo 5 versions look a whole lot better.
