There’s probably been mention before but
Is it me or does it seem a little much to have a Legendary Boss right off the get go on March on Stormbreak?
It seems whoever gets that kill is setup for the rest of the game and usually takes the W in the end. If your team manages to kill Lochagos:
A. Your team obviously gets a hefty 150 pt. jumpstart.
B. Your team will most likely get Garage if you had enough manpower to kill Lochagos in the first place.
C. Your team has the advantage of being right there for the next Legendary Boss (Pilot Dalamen?).
MoS would feel a bit more balanced if it wasn’t Lochagos was replaced with a normal boss. Just a thought.
I know the failsafe answer is to play with a Company, but thats a weak response. Lets move past that one, its not a viable commitment for everyone.
While they’re killing Lochagos and capping fortress, just back cap. Having both armories gives you more points and better map position. Take down the Banshee, and boom you’re set to win.
Lochagos is a trap to lure people into bad map position.
From my experience, the team that kills Lochagos generally loses the Fortress shortly after. But, even if not, the way the bosses are spread out, even the team that doesn’t kill Lochagos to start usually has plenty of opportunity to make up those points. That can be by capping the other armory, killing Pilot Dalamen (easy enough to kill from your home armory) or attempting to steal 25vp bosses from the other team’s side of the map. If all else fails, go assassinate Warden Eternal
No guarantees in WZ. Killing lochagos, does not= a win or even capturing the fortress. That is what makes the game fun. I have been in games where people share your philosophy, and they quit out as soon as Lochagos is awarded to the other team. Those quitters miss out on the challenge of the game. While the map could use a minor tweak, ahem spawnin, it plays fine.

Just wanted to let you know that Pilot 'Dalamen is on Battle of Noctus. March on Stormbreak has Captain 'Wamik.
I find Lochagos annoying, but to be honest, it eventually doesn’t matter too much.
Statistically, the team who kills lochagos supposedly most of the time doesn’t get the fortress.

Okay sweet. I wasn’t sure, so just went off of what OP said. Either way, the same applies.
Whatever that Banshee is, I couldn’t remember off the top my head.
I dont know, I brought it up because I’ve recently changed up my start strategy on MoS. I used to cap the armory and hang back til the Elite General comes and pop him off with a Carbine, then move to Garage. Now, i’ve been going for Lochagos after the armory cap and have been seeing a pattern of whoever gets Lochangos also gets the the garage, ending in a hefty lead off the beginning for their team and an advantage towards the non mirrored bosses.
Lochagos gives a head start nothing more nothing less. Anybody can solo him using weapons picked up In home base so there’s no guarantee that killing him = superior numbers and like many people I find killing him leads to losing the fortress. In addition Wamik can be killed easily from almost anywhere on the map with Railguns or Splasers and the Warden is easier to approach from the armoury’s than he is from the fortress.
