How well of a leader do you think Lasky will be in Halo 4 compared to Jacob Keyes and Miranda Keyes?
Knowing where he was during the event’s of the covenant war would help otherwise its a blank slate compared to Jacob Keyes and Miranda.

Considering he was put aboard the most advanced UNSC starship as an Executive Officer? Well, he had to be doing something right :P. I mean, he was inspired by the Master Chief to become a soldier and rise through the ranks during the Human-Covenant War.
To go through the events at Corbulo, remain alive through the many battles that took place during the war, the invasion of Earth, the battle at Installation 00/04B, i say he’s at least lucky and a capable solider to survive where many died. Even if he wasn’t at every single battle that took place in the books/games.
He’s similar to them, except for the fact that he’s a massive Master Chief fanboy.

Except he shouldn’t read Glasslands without first reading Ghosts of Onyx…and he shouldn’t read GoO without first reading First Strike…and he shouldn’t read FS without first reading The Fall of Reach.

And you REALLY shouldn’t read Fall of Reach without reading Contact Harvest. It explains the origins of the Human-Covenant War and has SGT Johnson in it.

Anyway, i want to know wtf happened to make Lasky a spook, i mean he is Prangosky’s chosen for the Infinity’s XO, hell she’d rather have him as captain, i see an unfortunate “accident” in Del Rio’s future
Commander Tom Lasky’s measure as a man and as a naval officer can only be compared to the likes of Captain Jacob Keyes and even Fleet Admiral Cole. Why anyone would believe that LCDR Miranda Keyes is a competent officer in any regard is beyond my comprehension.
That being said, I really think Tom Lasky will be a great addition to the universe and a fantastic leader to serve under. Given what I know about Andrew Del Rio, Infinity’s CO, I sincerely hope that our boy succeeds him as her captain.

Considering the fact that both Jacob and Miranda died, and Lasky lived… I’m going with Lasky.
