Coming across hackers.

It seems that now Halo 4 has been (or perhaps has been for a while) hacked by some players. What do you do when you come across a hacker? Do you just back out? I played a few games and did miserably. Thoughts? Should one file a complaint, knowing that the hacker will most likely start a new account?

If you come across someone you suspect of hacking or cheating, it’s always best to file a complaint against their gamertag, the banhammer will eventually catch up with them. If they’ve modded their console or profile in any way, they could find their console banned as well so it wouldn’t matter if they made a new account,

in fact if me and I found but not only in Halo 4 also in Reach In Halo 4 they only see q Snipers kill everyone but jump as if they had gravity is difficult to kill and always score is 50-12 and then after that show up and died again but I think the ban

Maybe they’re just really good…?

Even though I’ve never played against a hacker. I would report them because when they get banned they’ll go through the hassle of making a new account and if their xBox is modded they’ll get console banned :stuck_out_tongue:

they could just be really good and have all the upgrades

Sometimes it is skill, that’s when you just avoid the player, but sometimes it is a hacker they are quite common nowadays, that’s when you avoid them and report for cheating, and its best if your friends or people you are playing with all do the same it will help them to get noticed faster : )

I sometimes come across people who kill me instantly or shoot crazy fast

I ve recently been playing btb in halo 4. And i met a hacker. Dude was just jumping over the map and killing everybody.

I reported him and but he’s still playing and cheating.

I am not afraid to report him and contact microsoft myself, the said player is wrecking what we love.

je déteste les HACKER

Game sucks anyways, just play halo reach

ha I think I was reported as being a hacker getting 29 kills and 2 deaths… yet halo waypoint doesn’t show the game that I played in nor my team

Haha, perhaps.

I have over 50 000 kills in MM and I’ve seen a hacker maybe once. More than likely it’s just lag, which can explain 99% of the ridiculous stuff that happens in matchmaking. Also, if you’re interpreting missed shots in killcams as hacking, don’t, because they’re notoriously inaccurate to the point where their inclusion is almost pointless.

Yea kill cams have lag its terrible everyone says I cheat and i don’t I’m a swat player knowing spawns and playing with team mates who also do and we all USE MICS unlike 3/4 of the ppl playing the game…and just BC someone beats u don’t say their profile is offensive that’s stupid got mr banned for 24 hrs BC of ppl bein babies just remember practice makes perfect

Yeah, practice makes perfect. But not many of them are good because of it.
Once I was playing a SWAT game and there was a guy who was killing my whole team and I saw him from the killcam and from my HUD that he was running like if he had a Speed Boost…and we all know that you can’t use armor upgrades in SWAT.

ive found that for me its just my internet connection so i dont know it its hacking or lag!? 343 step up your game or something…

Lag for me has been so bad that their was one time where a person in front of me lagged behind me to assassinate me. When Halo 4 lags it lags bad.

I love it when I get messages from people after a match saying they reported me for cheating
