Laid Back Gamers was founded by General Yayap back in 2006. Laid Back Gamers started as a Halo 2 Clan and eventually evolved into a multi game multi platform community. In 2010 most of Laid Back Gamer’s members had become bored of Halo and the clan’s activity declined. Eventually it got to the point where we were not a clan anymore but instead a small group of close friends. The majority of us moved on to PC games like WoW, LoL, Minecraft, Garry’s Mod, etc.
Now that Halo 4 has been released I have found myself looking for some friends to play with. I miss Laid Back Gamers more than ever. I have decided to reopen Laid Back Gamers as a gaming community for gamers that live by our “Good Friends, Great Games” motto.
Laid Back Gamers is for casual and competitive players alike. We value teamwork and love to win but we play by the rules and if we lose a game we congratulate the other team on a good game . In order to be a Laid Back Gamer you must be a good sport and respect the other team. If we have enough players interested we will start a competitive team. To join Laid Back Gamers you do not need to have a certain kill death ratio. The only requirements are that you show respect, play to win, and conduct yourself in a mature manner. Once we open up a competitive team there may be skill based requirements in order to join but that will be up to the team captain.
Now that Laid Back Gamers is reopening we will primarily focus our recruiting on Halo 4 players. As our member base grows and we have members showing interest in other games we will branch out into a multi-game multi-platform community once again.
Please note that I am still working on the website and we are in early development. The clan is not yet officially open but if you are interested in joining I am going ahead and opening up registration. I could really use some feedback on the website as well.
