Seriously, even after some of the bigger game breaking bugs had been squashed? There’s still so much WRONG with this game. It’s pathetic that you’d leave it like this. Games randomly disconnecting, host can STILL end the game? What, we are almost 2 years in and you still haven’t fixed that? The horrendously slow and buggy UI. It’s odd when the game forces you to back out when searching and it overlaps, so you actually can’t even find a game afterwards. It FORCES the player to reset.
Halo 5 will live without a few of your devs. They can come back and fix the mess you made. Don’t leave us in the rearview and treat us like we’re nothing. We threw down $60 for this broken mess. Those that have stuck around in hopes that you’d actually care enough to fix anything are just given the stick. How messed up is that?
To busy on halo 6 now. I think it’s too late for that…
Lol they screwed up 5 and now they’re too busy screwing up 6? Give me a break

have a kit-kat
MCC has so much potential still. DONT GIVE UP ON US!
Yeah, sad to see how a good idea went into an horrible mess
Apparently its true. However, if you think about it, this is 343’s equivalent to Halo 2. So Halo 6 should be like there Halo 3, hopefully they will get everything right by then. I don’t think the company really dislikes us, I think they are trying very hard to impress us, ultimately, the game, it is playable. Kill the negativity towards them, it cant be encouraging.

No, I’m not going to kill the negativity. This developer is just absolutely terrible when it comes to customer service. Like I said, we threw $60 toward them in hopes of a decent experience. Instead all we got were game breaking bugs, excuses and just flat out ignorance from the team behind it. They outsourced it to Certain Affinity. However, they couldn’t do some quality assurance? It’s not even been TWO years since release. It’s far too new to just ignore. 343i DESERVES the negativity for this. Why is it okay for them to alienate us like this? This is THEIR forums. If they can’t even acknowledge legitimate criticisms or at least detail why they want to leave us behind? Why the hell should they get anymore support from me? From others like me? They have my money, and it’s wrong.

Being complacent about the bugs/issues that are still plaguing the MCC will get us nowhere, we need to hold 343/Microsoft accountable for this mess. Please don’t be an apologist, 343 deserves all the flak that they’re receiving from the community for botching the launch of the MCC and then abandoning the game when it’s still in a poor state. I mean the fact that the Halo community had to create an entire website dedicated to bringing light to the bugs that are plaguing the MCC port of Halo CE really says how poor of a state that the game is in.
It is extremely pathetic how they released this game the way it was and left it like it has been.
This is the so called “Next-Gen” gaming?
Every game on MCC ran WAY smoother on it’s original console.
Feels like i’m playing a horrible 3rd Party Beta version of Halo every time I play this game…

2 years is actually plenty of time for most devs to drop support on games. It’s really unfortunate that 343 has very little support on it, I’d play it more if I didn’t have to spend a few hours in total search just to play a few games. My perspective is mcc was a lost cause in functionality right from the get go however due to its size, they really should’ve just stuck with a h2A where support would e been much more possible and beneficial. At best if 343 would’ve stuck with mcc they would’ve fixed a few more issues but break more comings in the process (remember when I said lost cause due to its size? The bigger the game, the more CoDs that break when patches hit, and I imagine most devs just wouldn’t want to even bother because of that). It’d be nice if they attempted it tho as it’d show they’re at least trying even if it’s a failing attempt.

2 years is plenty of time get bugs ironed out and then they can move on. However, they put out one major update, and just walked away. That was within its first year. Since then we haven’t seen anything outside of one map and ODST campaign. This is not okay.

I agree, I’m not saying to ignore 343 giving up on it, I’m just putting in my perspective as to why they probably don’t want to even bother. The thing is they’ve acknowledged the issues, even to this day on Twitter you’ll see them reply to people talking about it, in the end tho that’s all it is, acknowledging the issue but not trying to fix it. That’s where 343 is in the wrong, I’d like to think if they’d at least show that they’re trying then they’d have much less aggression from us. Sure some will still be pissed that it has issues to begin with (I don’t mind it, I do wish people can understand tho that mcc was never going to be 100% bug free due to three generations of AAA coding tho) but some people’s minds would be at ease “if” 343 would’ve at least shown an attempt in doing so. All that looks like can be done now is to keep going on about mcc to remind 343 to not do it again.
About 343 supporting their games, I honestly don’t think we’ll see them supporting their games much due to halo now being released annually whether it be the mainline games, stand off games like hW2 or even mobile stuff. Even h5s support (at least it’s still being given support tho lol) is lack luster to many of the players. They were already working in h6 before h5 even launched, so if imagine their teams are split up already as is and splitting them up further for more support on their current games isn’t on their agenda. It’d be much more beneficial if they just delay future projects to ensure the current ones get the care that they need to flourish.
Is there even anything we can do to grab their attention? Posting on the forums is clearly not working, and too many people will still buy the Halo games despite the fact that they robbed all of us of $60. It’s not right, and 343 incompetent should have this game at least running right by now. But they just pushed this out for money from the longtime Halo fans and then moved on to Halo 5. It’s wrong, and they should be held accountable. But really, what can we do about it besides continue to complain on forums? Forums that won’t even be looked at by anyone other than moderators making sure we’re not “flaming” anyone.
they promised a dedicated mcc team would be working on it and another team focusing on halo5 …looks like they were bull shi.tting
The current state of the MCC is simply unacceptable. After the April 2015 patch, the MCC was in a launchable state, NOT a finished state. The game still has massive list of bugs, glitches, infrastructure/network problems, and design issues.
After all the promotional stuff (I still remember Xbox sending emails advertising the MCC as “the ultimate Halo experience” and pretending that the game was fully fixed by December 19th of 2014), it is absolutely disgraceful for 343i and MS to abandon the game. “Killing the negativity” is exactly what they want, because they want the MCC debacle to be buried and forgotten. That is why the MCC must not be forgotten: 343i and MS cannot be allowed to think that they have fooled us, that they have tricked us and deceived us. That is why the “negativity” (I prefer to call it “lobbying for the MCC to be properly fixed” but whatever) must not stop. Not until the MCC is ACTUALLY fixed.
