Instead of bringing back any past iteration of either the AR or SMG, they should bring back the iconic-looking AR and have it function like the ODST SMG. That would be SLICK!

Then you can mess with whatever other automatic weapons that are in the sandbox with its own unique features like bringing back the stun for the Plasma Rifle (or adding stun to a new unrevealed weapon).

Simple, yet significant. Thoughts?

I dont think the AR should have zoom, but if they restructure the sandbox around an AR/SMG zoom weapon I think that would be a great way to make Halo 4 unique.

Not that significant. Both weapons function very similarly, with the exception of scope capability.

All I want is the AR from Halo CEA with a bit more accuracy…

is that so much to ask ?
