I play a fair amount of Halo 5 and I enjoy trying to get as much commendation progress as I can while I play for the bonus XP as well as the reward packs for passing levels 3 and 5. There is one commendation that requires you to gain Combat Skill Medals and I honestly can’t figure out which specific medals help progress this commendation, I just happen to randomly gain progress since I don’t always pay attention to exactly which medals I am getting while I play. Does anyone know where a list of these specific medals are or are able to make a list? Would really like to know what’s required for this and thank you in advance for any help given

Probably sword kills…Close quarters…Etc etc.
Reversal; Hat Trick; Top Gun; Extermination; Cluster Luck; BXR; Hail Mary; Long Shot, First Strike; just to name a few.
Basically any medal that is awarded for a kill but doesn’t fit into another category. Example being particular weapon kills don’t count, sprees don’t count, Multikills don’t count.

Are you sure they are applicable? I am on 96/100 and First Strike doesnt seem to be increasing the number?
