COMBAT READINESS PROGRAM FOR HALO 5?

Would you guys like a combat readiness program in Halo 5? I think it would be cool

Elaborate.

Yeah, What is that? Like a training mission or something along the lines of the beginning of every Call of Duty game ever? If so…
No. Never

I think it’s more like a way to determine if your ready for war games, it lowers the difficulty and has ai’s and players so yeah i guess i’m all for it as long as only people below level 10 can play and it helps players.

There’s training missions at the beginning of CoD? Never knew. And just because CoD does something doesn’t mean they own that feature.

Anyway I think he’s talking about something like Titanfall’s intro. Except it would have to be shorter. A lot shorter.

No, Crysis 3 intro was far better. Titanfall was sloppy and unnecessarily long. To those who haven’t played Crysis 3 I urge you watch the intro, it is cool, canon, and effective. You can re visit any specific part of it from the menu whenever.
I would love 343 to do this, primarily so new players are forced to begin it and learn to fly a banshee etc, maybe even tips on ‘h0w 2 wathog?’ you know, a beginners guide. Something along the lines of, “Drive around obstacles”, “Warthogs do have more than one seat”, etc.

I’m unbelievably happy to see a fellow Crysis 3 lover. It is one of the most under appreciated games.

I too would like to see something similar to a tutorial. All of the Halos have a basic view and shield setup, but they can do better.
They could have it similar to Halo 2’s where you are setting up your new Mark VII armor and since you’re calibrating it for the first time, you need to perform every action once and use the new abilities. Plus, they could make it innovative where it asks you to look up, and if you push the thumbstick down it automatically sets it to inverted.

Then, once you finish that, you are asked to re-familiarize yourself with the vehicles and learn their new features, in a simulation, because you have been out of service for six years.

Of course it would be optional, and you decide if you want to do it after you finished calibration. The tech support guy could just ask “Since you’ve been off the battlefield for over six years, do you want to practice with your suit and the vehicles on the War Games deck?”.

Then the second mission of the game could be where Master Chief decides to go AWOL after listening to some UNSC/ONI stupidity, then steals another ship (possibly with the help of Blue Team) and goes to wherever he meets that one thing. Or maybe he is just chilling on a ship when the Covenant attack, and then he realizes that ONI is backstabbing the Elites and goes with them (also gives an intro point for Halsey). Or he just be teleported away by the Librarian.

Sooo…firefight.

But yeah, why not. I love the way titanfall did it.

No, playing against A.I. Spartans.
