Be kinda cool if one of the corners of the hud displayed a cam of what one of your teammates was experiencing/seeing. Kinda like the helmet cam in the movie Aliens, or the marine cam footage when we first see the flood in halo ce. Being able to cycle through your fireteams feed withe the dpad.
In this day and age were no one wants to use a mic in game chat. I think it would enhance social aspects by encouraging sticking together as a team. Better team tactics. And controlling power weapons like when someone in your feed dies with the power weapon. When someone dies in your feed the screen could go to a flatline and the original master chief sound clip of him dying while a teammate was talking in halo 2 multiplayer could play over for nostalgia.
Now this option could be something that is disabled of course. Especially in gametypes that are more of hardcore nature.
But might be a lot of fun in warzone, especially if it was limited to your fireteam or 343 implemented a squad element to the game.
Not against this idea. Seems neat not gonna lie. My only concern is, will the HUD be too cluttered with it? If we are getting those big yellow hexes all over the screen when shields recharge, then I would prefer the cam not be there. Overall, a cool idea, but I can see trouble with it if not put in the game well. Might be too much of a distraction also.

I’m kinda hoping the yellow hexagons will be gone in the final product. It’s just too much information. The shield recharge noise is enough imo. We don’t need yellow hexagons muddying the field of view.

I’m just gonna go off the halo 5 hud since infinites is still up in the air. Top right corner is weapons. Top left corner is grenades. I was thinking combine the grenades with the weapons on the right corner. Mabe add some transparen color to the nades like green blue and orange to distinguish them. Move the scoreboard from the bottom right to the top left and add some transparency to that. Also make it more of a box shape because it really doesnt need to be a long rectangle.
Put the cam in the bottom right in its place and make it no bigger than the size of the motion detector In the left corner

Seems reasonable to me on that note. I don’t do change easily honestly, but I’m not gonna shut out new ideas. This one could work. Maybe it could be an equipment pickup even?

I was thinking that too. Swap out the motion tracker for a cam. Be very handy in strongholds/territories when you need on the fly recon on how your teammates are faring at holding an objective
