THIS IS A CALL!!! We need more options for armor (chest, shoulders, knees. etc.) and more shades of colors. Some colors seem like they’re not dark enough and others seem like they’re not bright enough. We need the options that Reach gave to us. Everyone is saying this. How can we BE our spartans if we can’t customize them the way we want. Truthfully, we could make spartan armor much better and more personal than what Halo 5’s options give us.

I don’t think that because in Reach I felt as though I “was” Noble 6. Halo 5, I don’t feel like I’m Neskreudn the Spartan, I feel like I’m one of the useless marines in the campaign. So, “need” is more of an understatement.

Ah. So it’s not a “we” thing at all. It’s a YOU thing. I certainly don’t need more armor customization. (Nor do I particularly want it either, to be perfectly frank.)

I say “we” because I’m not the only one. There are others like me, and we are many. Plus, most of the armor looks bulky. I have only seen the armor that Jorge uses in Reach to be bulky, but only a little.
Need is indeed heavy-handed, but I more or less agree that more customization would be nice. The thing I appreciated about Halo 4 is that it acknowledged that our Spartans had an identity, and they more or less had a role in the lore as Team Crimson. Reach started that mindset with having the player be Noble 6 himself, instead of going with the usual Silent Protagonist approach like Master Chief was.
In a sense, Halo 4 seperated Chief from the player, which was something I appreciated. Kind of throwing all of that out of Halo 5 feels a bit of a waste.
