As someone who is colourblind (or colour deficient technically) I find it really difficult to see whos army belongs to who especially in 3v3 team games, alot of the time i just have to put my units in the middle and hope they kill the right things which makes it very difficult to micro manage my units effectively. I find it strange how they decided not to implement a colourblind option to begin with since halo wars 1 had that option and i think it worked fine when they made it so each team had a solid colour no matter how many people were on that team, i love playing this game but it can be annoying to deal with this problem
Colorblind person here. I can see what you mean about the team colors. It is a little hard to differentiate your units from your teammates sometimes. It’d be cool if your units always had the circle under them, and your allies has a different shape or something.
Personally, what bothers me the most is the colors of the unit effectiveness on the blitz cards. I want to work on my decks, but I can’t tell the difference between the greens and yellows they use on the icons (infantry, vehicle, air). They can keep the color, but I wish they’d incorporate a fill meter as well.
