With the upcoming Battle of Shadow and Light that my bae, 343i, is putting out sometime soon, we know that we can get large updates adding things to the game like weapons, armors, and vehicles. Now, I’m not gonna lie, I’m a little disappointed by 343i’s choice of colors for the armors. What my curious mind was wondering, is do you think that it’d be possible to add more colors for spartan armor to the game? I doubt it’d be as hard to make as an entire armor set (though I have no idea, I’m no programmer), and it’d make a lot of very happy Spartans. I’ve noticed that there’s not a lot of green colors. There’s not that classic Spartan olive anymore. We need more dark colors right now. The Halo 5 color scheme is very bright, and while that’s fine, I think it needs to be balanced with more dark colors. Bring back the ODST black and the classic Spartan green! We’ll probably be seeing frequent updates during Halo 5’s lifespan, so I don’t think that this is something unattainable, I believe! 
I’m always down for more options. I’m happy with the current selection if they don’t add more though.

I’d like a few more colors added, why not? The more the merrier.
I, for one, hate how the secondary colors are much darker than primary. Like for goodness sake when I pick white for secondary it should not look like a dark grey

Rofl, well, we did get a ninja-themed armor set (shadow) and also got lightrifle variants (light). I honestly feel like the name is a bit overwhelming when you look at what it actually brings, but hey! I’m not upset, I’m happy with it

I completely agree, however I’ve noticed it only on a few armor sets, which is weird, such as the Mjolnir Mk. VI that you get from the Master Chief collection.
I want them to patch in the olive/sage/drab green that was in the beta. Why on earth would they cut down the options for the final game? I don’t like any of the green colors in Halo 5. I’m not asking for it to be that dark…just more murky and less of a lime green.

I have noticed it too actually. My noble armor isn’t one lucky one though it has secondary colors appear much darker than they should
I would not mind having more options (I mean who seriously would?). I do wonder how much would change over the entire lifespan of this game, since 343i themselves stated that changes will constantly be coming and I like that they’re making the effort to keep things fresh and enjoyable.
We need a better orange, also the armors that darken your secondary color blow. If I want bright friggin orange on my armor I can’t cause some armors make it a dull metallic brown at best.
I too would like more colors, there is not really a lot of need for it as you wear red or blue in most modes.
It should be an option to customize your armor and “Paint” it as you want …
I really like halo 5 the only problem i have is that the color i always use which is orange or coral isn’t in game, seriously hoping they put more colors in the game considering lots of players had colors they loved and are being disappointed because they took them out of halo 5, most of the colors they have are really ugly and are darker or lighter then what they should be.

All these codes are for multiple parts of these sprites but Halo 5 would use two codes… and don’t tell me the game can’t do that, I can’t believe this.
The way you handle these should be like this game, (sticks for the not so colored square and the + for multi colored bar at the right) .
No, the game shouldn’t show like on the picture, but color editing would be more or less like that.
All colors are available that’s all and if you have a specific color in mind, well… just type the code (mine is A60300, two times) .
