Colored Shield Flare?

I know there was some criticism over the bright yellow shield flare from the multiplayer reveal, but team-colored shields? I genuinely can’t tell at a glance if someone has shields because the outline and shield are the exact same color. Anyone else noticing this?

I must admit, I struggle noticing who is an enemy or a teammate.

Hmm, I wonder if that’s disable-able? Or if using one of the alternate color options for enemies will let the outline stick out more?

I hope it is, I actually really liked the heavily stylized yellow explosion lol

I 100% expect to get clapped by the bots because of this. Will test thoroughly.

I hate to admit it, but I am too. I was looking forward to playing in my own colors, but there were several moments in the final match we saw where I said “wait, why is he not hitting that guy?” only for it to be an ally.

I was actually hoping that there would be a toggle option for RVB or FOF.

Seemed fine to me, more or less. I was worried that the outline would be the only thing to go off of but I liked the team colored shield flares; it almost seems like you’re fighting a red or blue. If this is what 343 is gonna stick with for the time being it could honestly be worse, and it’s good for colorblind players, too.
