But really, who in 343i found it necessary to boot the entire green-blue/teal color options? I thought the boosted number was supposed to widen the palette, not degrade it.

Teal=Aqua in this game.
They really ought to just add RGB sliders like in that russian Halo Online.

There’s the navy line, the blue line, then the green line; no in-between like before the update. Obviously it’s not always called teal all the time, but there aren’t any blue-green options left.

Tazzman, I’ve already explained to you in another post that Teal does not equal Aqua, in this game or in any other. They are two very different shades. Stop telling people they are one in the same. 343i didn’t rename the same color, they added an entirely new color, and got rid of the old one. We’ve gone over this before.

There’s no teal/cyan column but there is at least one shade of teal/cyan. It’s near the top of the second blue column.
