Just wondering, will there be an official guide for Halo CEA, one like ODST were we had a Campaign section and a section for Multiplayer showing all the current DLC maps and new ones?
Also, has a Collectors Eddition of CEA been announced, as I can pre-order now but I don’t just in case they announce somthing.

NO, special edition has been announced as of yet. I don’t think there will be one because if there was going to be one they would have probably announced it at Halofest. I don’t know for sure but I highly doubt it.

This, how ever, the fact we still have two maps that 343i haven’t officially announced makes me think they still have more up their sleeve.
Either way, pre-order now and just upgrade your pre-order if a special edition is announced.

Ugh… every time I tried to upgrade a pre-order it turned into a mess.
I’d skip the whole thing if they’d let me just walk in and snatch up a copy at midnight.

In what way did it turn into a mess?

I sometimes just go to Walmart at midnight and pick games up it is easier especially if you don’t care about any add-ons.
I did ask about of they were going to do a limited or legendary edition at Halofest and I was told that there wasn’t going to be one. Halo CEA was going to be their gift to the fans, and making fans pay more money for it with collector editions didn’t feel right to them.
That’s what I was told anyways, who knows if they’ll change their mind between now and November.

Sounds reasonable enough to me.

With Halo 3 Legendary, ODST Special, and Reach Legendary Editions I originally just ordered a copy, and upgraded when announced… and with all three, by the time I showed up to get my stuff it showed that I had only ordered a regular copy (like my original order showed). Hang onto your receipts kids!

I normally do with every other game. Halo titles are one of the few I make exceptions for.

Just buy the original guide, don’t see why would need one though
