Run a 1 month beta next time, do it like Bungie did for H3, where you use access to the beta to promote sales of another game release, and then give free access to a lot of active forum members who you can count on to provide feedback about it. Halo 4 has a lot of problems that you guys could have avoided by having a beta and receiving the feedback and complaints you are getting now earlier so you could have fixed them and provided a better game. You kinda blew it now, a lot of the population is gone, so I think the community as a whole should call for, or really rather, demand, that for Halo 5, they have a beta, and promise to pay attention to what we all say about it.
I also demand that we get a legendary edition of h5 that gives of a 1:1 scale replica of unsc infinity.

Link me the posts of your suggestions during the Halo 3 and Reach Beta, or are you just another random who just wants an early game?

I’ll take this over a beta.
But agreed, while public beta builds are often dated compared to internal builds, and experience testers can do a good job…nothing quite adds up to a public beta.
Look at Reach’s. Compared to the current internal build, it was 6 weeks old. The public still found a plethora of bugs and glitches that Bungie did not find. Very few bugs in gameplay exist in Reach. Halo 4? Many.
It doesn’t matter to me.
Halo is going in the opposite direction of my wants, I don’t think I can complain anymore.

I did make a lot of suggestions, Ive been around since Halo 2 days, I don’t need to waste my time finding posts on Bungie on forums that might not even still exist to prove it to some -Yoink- online. The Plasma Pistol shot stunning vehicles is just one of a few community inspired ideas that I was around for the first few times it was ever mentioned.

Yeah, because Bungie didn’t find ANYTHING wrong with the game in the Reach beta.
-
Fixed a major glitch in Stockpile that allowed a teamate to hog all cP for captures
-
Fixed Headhunter glitch where player with more than 10 skulls would have no waypoint.
-
Fixed massive invasion glitch where humans and elites would change colors
-
Changed massively sized grenades.
-
Fixed massive lunge on Gravity Hammer.
Yeah, Betas don’t do anything useful.
The Reach beta gave them huge amounts of data that they used to fix dozens of issues, including changing the design of an entire map: Sword Base. They broke up one side and made the other nice looking so people knew where they were.
Maybe you should stop fanboying so hard and think about a genuinely good idea before you speak.
Oh, and don’t worry guys, we got a beta for Halo 4 as well, we’re playing it now! Can’t wait for the full release when File Sharing and Custom Games opions are added!
they didn’t have a Beta for Halo 4 because they knew that the community testing the game would not be in favor of many of the new changes. Frankie said that it would limit the growth and evolution of the game.
And clearly that wouldn’t have been a bad thing. Well, Im gonna go on record as putting my foot down and saying im not buying Halo 5 without playing it first.
Thats basically saying We dont care what you think
Halo 4 is Halo 5’s beta.
Yea i agree haveing a beta would be great.
Well now that we’ve got Halo 4 and all the changes they could make a beta for Halo 5.

So they don’t care whether we like the game or not?? I fully understand now why this isn’t the game I expected. 343 designed a game to be played by CoD players assuming that Halo players would buy it anyway.
> Thats basically saying We dont care what you think
Basically
Probably not going to buy halo 5. 343 is obviously not a capable game developer.
We’re playing the Halo 5 beta right now. I thought everyone knew that.
The truth is it would have helped with many of the smaller problems in Halo 4
welcome to the Halo beta! Where 343 see just how far they can screw with the game you love while appealing to the marketable masses! Jump aboard, kids, it’s a hell of a ride! lol
