Collectible Weapons Guide

i came across this and wanted to share. I’ve found “blaze of glory” shotgun in campaign but got rid of it after it was empty. regular shotgun ammo doesn’t replenish the ammo.

there was a paragraph in here I was curious about as I’ve never heard this before…

Does the game save each Unique Weapons you collect?: Yes, the game will automatically save the Unique Weapons you just collected if you picked up the Unique Weapons, so you don’t have to play to the end of the mission (although that is recommended with the new weapon in your arsenal). After picking up each collectible you can safely quit the mission without losing collectibles progress.

does anyone know know if this is true? I don’t recall seeing the shotgun I found in my collection. and I wonder if it means you have to finish the mission with that weapon on you to get it in warzone… any ideas? even though it said you don’t have to finish.

Well, that is interesting, but I doubt it. I found Loathsome Thing, Blaze of Glory and Nornfang in Campaign but I don’t have them in my Req collection. Similarly, I don’t have the base weapons in my collection, so that may limit the unlocks.

A better way to ask, is tweet Josh Holmes on twitter, he may have answers.

Finding rare weapons in campaign has no impact on multiplayer. Getting those weapons in MP is based on unlocking them in REQ packs.

I found Blaze of Glory and completed the level with it, I still have nothing but the basic Shotgun in Warzone.

I’m going to agree with the ‘unlikely’ crowd.

found loads but none are in my collection

yeah I assumed the information was wrong but I had just a glimmer of hope that I was about to get some legendary and mythic goodies lol

I was hoping my shangellio pal would bit off more than he could chew so I could try that saweeeet yellow energy sword haha.

I found almost all of the weapons from loathsome thing to tein jewels of the maethrilian or something like that. They are extremely difficult to find so keep your eyes out for suspicious spots that can hold weaponry.

I’ve gotten The BoG, Nornfang, Didact’s Signet, and The Answer all in Campaign.
Pretty sure there’s no correlation to MP.

I don’t think you can unlock reqs through the campaign, unfortunately. That is a good idea, though. I enjoy the concept of actually doing certain things in game/achievements to unlock armor. It places more value on the armor we unlock. Simliar to how Halo 3 did it.
