Booted Halo 5 up for the first time in a while yesterday. Had ‘defected’ to Overwatch and coming back to Halo again just reminded me how much this game has changed under 343. Booted up a BTB game and graphically, after playing Overwatch with it’s colourful, smooth graphics it was like going back to the stone age. Pixels, pop-ups… looks like a PS1 era game sometimes. So ugly. Gameplay wise it’s so clunky compared to Overwatch, the communication between Spartans is now less Sci-Fi/Military alien invasion and more Battlefield war like.
Nice to see the classic helmets back but it does nothing for the classic gameplay. Playing MCC Halo 3 playlist reminds me as well just how much I miss the old Halo games…
Can we have a Reach remaster? And by Remaster I mean leave it as it was and don’t alter it with any 343 cobblers…
