According to 343 all that pre-ordered Halo 2 Ultimate Edition before Dec 14th will receive their code 12/20/16. When will those who purchased their copy at a later date receive their codes?
7 to 10 days after the date you pre-ordered. So if you pre-ordered today you should have it within at least a week, depending on roll-out times
if they pre disclosed that IMPORTANT information that affects the purchase i made then i would have got it before that date. instead they pretty much lied to everyone and not we have to wait. im going to get my money back and cancel the payment this is ridiculous

Seriously? They said everyone who pre-ordered before the 14th was suppose to get it yesterday. Have you checked your XBOX messages?
If this is the case then they really need to prioritize fixing this. Something as simple as delievering a game people have paid for should NOT be an issue.
For my part I did not pre-order until the 19th so I don’t expect to get my code until 27th-30th or so. No big deal as I read the FAQ and saw this statement and accepted it (though they could have made this caveat a lot more noticeable before ordering). As long as I get it within 7-10 days I’ll be satisfied (even though I’m appalled by the method of delivery on a general level - was this 2016 or 1996?).
I preordered Halo wars Ultimate edition on July 31st (Basically the day it went up on the xbox store), as yet no code.
Codes are still being sent out and I believe another batch should be getting sent out today. There were some issues with the store on the 20th not accepting codes which I think has attributed to the delay in getting them out to players.
