Code of War is actively recruiting new players for its clan/spartan company. I helped found the clan wayyyy back toward the beginning of Halo 2 and we grew into an MLG style, well coordinated, skilled group that always had more prospective members than spots available. We all lost interest in Halo around Halo: Reach and recently, the clan has been re-formed with several long time members leading the way. Its small now, but we are looking to grow.
We are looking for the following types of player:
- Skilled. You don’t have to be Champion, but you need to have knowledge of how to work in a team and be able to shoot straight.
- Communication.
- Dedication. This includes being on quite a bit and desire to play with the clan when you’re on.
- Desire to improve yourself and those in the clan.
- Proper attitude. I’m way too old (as are most of the members) to listen to 13 year old kids stroke their own egos and act like mom and dad didn’t spend enough time with them. Act like you’ve been there before.
We aren’t just an MLG style clan anymore. We plan or organizing for anything from BTB to Team Arena all the way to Warzone and even customs eventually.
The bottom line, we are looking for reasonably skilled people who have the ability to act like a human being and can get along in an organized group setting. There will come a time when the clan grows and we re activate some sort of ranking system, tryout system and you’ll actually have to show that you can both lead and be led by other people. Victory doesn’t just come from people who can hop around and shoot straight, it comes from organization, being prepared, teamwork and strategy…and disciplined players.
