Cod Zombies but with the Flood

Not a big PvE guy but 343 should consider something like this.

*Replace zombies with the flood

*Replace wall weapons with req stations (no few packs or limited weapons… Round points only)

*A complex or difficult team based or even solo Easter egg filled with puzzles, objectives and bosses.

I don’t want Halo to be anything like Cod but a sci fi and Halo twist on something like this would bring in and keep thousands of players.

Cod Zombies is one of the only PvE game modes I can get lost playing for hours on end and have a blast the entire time.

Also not suggesting we replace firefight with this but adding new maps and Easter eggs with the horror of the flood would be fun. I think our fellow firefight loving community would appreciate something like this as well.

Curious on people’s thoughts on a game mode added like this.

This makes too much sense. I thought about this a long time ago and it makes no sense why they don’t do it.

Right!? Maybe one day this or something similar will make its way into the game.

If they do BR I want food to be the wall moving in. If you died and the zone passes your body you will become a bigger Flood AI.

This isn’t something the community hasn’t cried for. And would be very easy to implement in Firefight. You basically described a warzone FF without a time limit and better gameplay. And you know what? I’m bloody in. Where do I send my money?

Sorry to double post but

You’re right on the FF community showing love and even the cod community might enjoy it. Gaming is about sharing fun experiences, or living in a world that you enjoy. Or it’s a blood bath for kicks. And nothing is more zombie like and bullet worthy then the flood. My friend is playing halo for the first time and loves FF. It reminds him of zombies in a way.

This could even be explained as a simulation like we did with H5 MP. Making it lore accurate, and enabling us to just enjoy the heck out of it. Req stations would allow for weapon modding on the spot and, even power ups and vehicles. We know the flood can use vehicles so throw tanks and all kinds of crap at us. Also increase the player cap to 8 and it’s full mayhem.

Brother thank you for bringing this back up.

For sure and I agree! Let’s hope 343 gets a little creative with firefight. If they do, I’m sure I’ll run into ya out there. Have a good one. Thanks for the input.

Not a big PvE fan, but I could get behind a game mode vs the flood. Good Idea

Great!

I never played Halo but what I DID play is battlefield 4. I think they should include a Halo ‘version’ of the phantom program from BF4 would make for an epic Easter egg maybe an old weapon from previous Halo games which everyone wanted to be reintroduced in Infinite

Always a fun time, does it change the concept of the flood though?

Nah not at all. Infact it’s only make sense to continue to train Spartans, especially new 5’s in Combat Deployment and Scorched earth tactics against an enemy threat can take over an entire galaxy with a spore the size of an ameba.
In fact Spartans were once do pivotal in protection against the flood they’re often guards at flood research facilities. Which! Fun but of lore here. If a Spartan is infected with the flood virus the response is a TACTICAL BLOODY NUKE. They consider the WHOLE REGION LOST AND LITERALLY GLASS THE AREA LIKE 10 TIMES.

Yeah flood FF makes stupid sense and is baffling. Extra trivia! In H4 “Infection” game types; infected Spartans became Flood infested Spartan models! Super immersive
