I swore when halo 4 came out i would never play cod again but today may be the last day on halo 4 for me. the experience with this game has become utter trash. I get that 343 wanted to make halo with their own feel to it, but all they managed to do is destroy the feel of halo. how many updates have there been… just to not fix anything.
why is there no preference for best connection… and no, that bs about it does it automatically is just not believable, especially after the last update.
why do i have to sprint 3x b4 my player actually runs a far distance?
covenant and forerunner perks with now way to play as them?
in trying to make halo easier for casual gamers, they messed with things that have led to absolutely no competitiveness. seeing your rank go up/down after a match drives you to play better and more. now I have to refresh a webpage to see what it is and half the time i forget to bring up the damn page.
weapon balance is just non existent. you went from one op rifle to another. great job 343. all you had to do was not -Yoink- up and i would’ve bought the x box one just for halo 5, now i may actually get a ps4 for destiny (higher quality than x box one) and the remake of the ps1 metal gear.
Check my stats, I play a lot of halo and i’ve tried my best to enjoy halo 4. I felt that after a few updates 343 would get their act together but all they’ve done is destroy my favorite franchise. I havent put in another disc into my x box for months but enough is enough. I’m going back to cod

Yeah dude, I agree Halo 4 didn’t live up to the hype I gave it, but the problems you mentioned aren’t… well, “problems.” They’re missing features. Those in themselves don’t make or break a game.
I disagree about “one OP rifle to the next”. If you are refering to BR its not OP. It has limited range and bullet spread. It kills at 1.37 sec while DMR is 1.47. Hardly OP compared to its previous 1.73 kill time vs DMR’s 1.47. CC is a beast with a slightly slower kill time than BR. I think the problem is Loadouts in Halo. I still think every playlist should have even starts. Primaries should be seperated like Team BRs, Team DMRs, Team LR, and so on.
That being said H4’s blatant rip of other games and poorly recycled features from Reach makes it the worst Halo IMO. Its not a bad game compared to its competition, but 343/MS made a HUGE mistake trying to be like other games.
I’m a die hard Halo fan but I swear Black Ops 2 is a better game in every aspect.
Campaign- multiple endings, makes more sense. Halo 4’s campaign was good but if you dont know about Halo lore half of it is forgettable or wont make sense.
MP- a true competitive mode. It doesnt matter if you think COD is competitive or not but League Play gives COD fans that outlet. It has divisions and VISIBLE ranking very similar to Reach’s Arena. Also COD’s core wasnt compromised to appeal to people who dont play COD. Team Throw down is great but IMO Throwdown with radar is what Infinity Slayer should have been.
Zombies-Firefight should be in EVERY Halo from now on. Co-op fans were screwed in this department. Spartan Ops is a Co-op campaign not a Survival mode. Therefore it lacks replay ability. No scoring, no sense of team work. Why arent PODs in SpOps? Thats where they belong.
I love Halo, I realy do. I play Halo 4 EVERY DAY, but its so easy to see why this game is not as good as previous Halos. Some might say I’m a “veteran” who cant adapt to change. I just want to know why the best Halo had to offer was removed or changed instead of improved upon.

I don’t want my halo being similar to call of duty. Halo 4 is a great game but I want halo 5 to be better.

But anyway BF3 has weapon balancing issues so does that make it exactly like COD?
All these problems are frequent amongst all FPS and 3rdPS so its not really copying of COD

Yeah things like lag and more universal traits are okay. But they are admittedly treading a thin line it seems. I
remain hopeful though.
