COD IW has Oddball and H5G doesn't?

This worries me when you have one of the most obvious Halo rip-offs that I’m hoping bombs so that COD & Activision dies feeding off the lack of features in this game and its fans then you have well and truly yoinked up. I’m not going to buy IW because its the worst and I’m hoping it doesn’t do well either because BF1 has what we we’ve been asking for and Overwatch & Doom has what we want more of. Halo you are falling behind and I hope you don’t get left for dead in the process

#MakeHaloGreatAgain

It’s sad really. I remember when Halo used to innovate.

It sucks that a -Yoink- game like CoD tends to have all it’s core features in day.

I find it funny when people bash on Call of Duty games. They are not -Yoink- games, as you put it. In fact, Black Ops 3 is decidedly more fan-friendly than Halo 5. Not only did Black Ops 3 introduce new game modes and build on the already great Zombies experience, they also kept fan favourite game modes like Kill Confirmed and Domination - you can’t say the same for Halo now can you?

Before I get shouted at for being a CoD fanboy, please just take a moment to think about it. Halo 5 got rid of popular game modes like Oddball, King of the Hill, Headhunters and Dominion, as well as nearly destroying BTB with its lack of good developer made maps.

this isn’t just a multiplayer thing this is a Campaign thing and both Halo 5 and BO3 were garbage in fact BO3 was so bad I got rid of it after I finished it and I still have Halo 5 because it was barely better even though I don’t replay the campaign anymore like I did with previous Halo’s

Cod has more than one studio too.

I agree on the Black Ops 3 campaign point - it was awful.

Was it even a Black Ops game? I dont remember a single reference to the previous two AT ALL…
(Not that Infinite Warfare looks much better, its LITERALLY the Interplanetary War)

How sad that those other games have oddball and Halo 5 doesn’t, and the worst part is that people are going to think that they created oddball instead of Halo, what a shame.

Headhunters was a terrible gametype. It was a fun gimmick for the first couple of games, but it was to damn luck based. Not many on the Bungie forums appreciated headhunter. Dominion is an odd exclusion. One of 343i’s original modes for H4 seemingly absent in H5. My guess it’s on the way in an upcoming update.

Oddball is in the game, it’s just not in matchmaking. I think strongholds can be adjusted to play like king of the hill, but I could be wrong on that one.

So now it will be renamed. Oddball will now be known as CODBall

Actually, it was first a thing in Marathon in the mode “Kill the Man with the Ball” which was later succeeded by Halo.

Also the only people who will honestly believe that are 12 years olds and playstation fans who’ve never played Halo.

The problem is that it’s not its own game type just like swat, yes it is call swat and plays like swat but for some reason when the game starts the announcer says slayer instead of swat like in every previous halo with swat

Oddball wouldn’t work in Halo 5 since games are so fast paced.

Y’all just find reasons to cry lmao.

Sniveling Intensifies

Why do you have to be such fanboys? Can’t you just enjoy a game, or not?

This thread is pointless.

We have Oddball, but it’s just not in Matchmaking.

Black Ops 3 campaign makes Halo 5’s campaign look like a 10/10 master piece. I was so bored playing it. At least I had fun playing Halo 5. Oddball is technically in Halo 5. Just go to custom games.

They can’t. It is following the trend that the most recent Halo game sucks and the previous one is awesome. It goes back to Halo 2. It just people who are just hoping on the bandwagon.

Can you enjoy a game that’s constantly breaking where even the micro transactions aspect is broken? Can you enjoy a game with a terrible story? Constant exploits in multiplayer? Missing aspects that should have been there at launch? I’ll admit the core multiplayer is solid, but other than that H5 is constantly broken and unfun.

Remember Halo2sucks.com? Also it’s not entirely a trend. Everyone trashes on reach, everyone compliments H4 with the campaign but Hayes the multiplayer because it turned halo into call of duty xenophobic warfare, MCC had the potential to be the best halo in existence but was entirely broken at launch and took months to be even playable… and then there’s halo 5…
