Upon logging in to Halo, the color pallet on my game appears correct. However, when I enter the customization menu (Spartan Hub), and my Spartan appears to the right of the screen, when the Coal color is selected, my Spartan appears to be dark green in color. Even when I select “salt” the color is still not a true white, as it should be. Same issue with silver and steel, they all appear to be different shades of green. This changes, however, when I enter a FFA match, as my color (and the color of enemy Spartans) appeasers to be correct. Once in a while, this issue will correct itself momentarily, altering my color in the Spartan Hub to its correct pallet. This reverts to the incorrect shades after a match is completed.I have uninstalled my game, been through Microsoft support, and changed all cables and ports available. Nothing. Any help would be great appreciated.
Firstly I don’t have any good advice for resolution. I’m sorry about that.
But from what I understand, your color looks correct while playing but it doesn’t look correct in the menu system?
Is that really such a problem?
Not really, it’s just kind of annoying.
Assuming I know what you’re experiencing, you shouldn’t be too alarmed about this. Some maps have different lighting filters and settings, which results in our Spartan appearing different after a match.
For example:
- Finishing a match on the map Eden will result in your Spartan appearing much brighter than usual. - Playing on a dark, scary map like “The Butcher” in Customs will make your Spartan turn completely black.Backing out to the main menu should revert your Spartan back to their normal appearance.
