Coagulation Core for Matchmaking

343i Please review this Map Variant in my file share for Matchmaking. Weapons and vehicles can be adjusted of course for game types. It’s the structures I have detailed that make this variant. I would like to put in two more lights for the affects at each cave. As you see I brought back and made the new caves from Halo 2 looking like they were made from the overhang of the cliff above that collapsed. It is small but an aggressive area. It has hiding corners inside. I know where I want to put an extra light to give it proper effect to enhance the cave so gamers won’t get disorientated but forge world only has two lights that was necessary to en-light red and blue bases. I always felt Forge world needed four lights but at least three lights because two lights are always necessary to en-lights red and blue bases. Excellent for invasion types and you have only two ways to enter the cores of the bases. Flags are at the usual place. I hope you like it Halo World. Also there are hidden items to use. Also I added weapons on the cliffs both sides and a remnant at the beach beyond towards the next island, just for the heck of it. Also I am not trying to encourage forgers to just throw up map variants on the forums.

My maps I work months on intensely and will spend hours in and out and using everything available to make my maps architecturally sound. I don’t throw up on forums just stupid maps. They have to be actually a good map related to Halo game play. So forgers please don’t throw up your quick made maps. I like them fully ready to play and look great too. I have been a certified drafter for 30 years.

Happy Halloween 343i

your map should be shared in the Community Creations rather than General Discussion, and if you are serious about trying to get your map reviewed you have to go through a process, because alot of other people want to share their maps too and it’s not as simple as just asking:

> Basically the cartographers go out and hunt for maps that are matchmaking or close to matchmaking quality and test it dozens of times and help the creator make improvements to it. Then they submit it to a special area and they are looked at by the other cartographers for opinions. Once everyone thinks it is good enough then the matchmaking team at 343 gets their hands on it. Sometimes they will have someone do a pre-screening process that will eliminate some of the maps, and any that make it through the pre-screening get tested by the team and they make the final decision of what goes in.

you could also share your map variant on a site like ForgeHub if you want people to check it out, that’s about all the info i have about it- hope it puts things in perspective

Thanks I will do this.
