VERY disappointed that Halo 5 does NOT support split screen co-op mode as me and my wife have enjoyed playing all of the previous Halo games this way. Bungie, you have ruined one of the best parts of the Halo series. Not everyone plays co-op with online people! Will not be purchasing this game and hope bungie learns from this huge mistake.
Many people are with you on this. It was pretty clear even months before release that splitscreen would not be supported, probably the biggest news about Halo 5.
Even so, a large group of Halo fans are disgruntled about the lack of splitscreen and hopefully, all of the pages and pages of posts on so many sites will get recognition so they know not to make the same mistake in the future.
That being said, they’ve pretty clearly stated Halo 5 will not be getting splitscreen regardless, no patch, not in an update, nada.

Good riddance to SS, I say. You wanna play co-op, play it online like just about everyone else. SS wasn’t put in because 60fps is more important and because SS has been replaced by the internet. Kids don’t do couch co-op like most of the people on the boards here did back in the day. I don’t care that CoD supports it, Nobody uses it on that game either.

Bungie doesn’t make Halo anymore. Reach was their last one.
