Co-op legendary symbol not appearing after LASO

Hey everyone, last night I completed h4 co-op on LASO difficulty. I had previously completed h4’s campaign on co-op legendary, and when I looked on Waypoint I could see the legendary symbol for the co-op campaign in the h4 service record section. Now that I have completed LASO however the legendary symbol is gone and it has been replaced by a blue circle that says I’ve completed 8/8 of the missions. If I haven’t been clear enough please just look at my service record, you will see what I mean. I checked my friends record who I did LASO with and he has the same blue circle as I do, and I’ve checked the service records of other members on this site who have beaten h4 on LASO and they all seem to have the same issue. Now I guess I’m not really too upset by this, but I would like to get the legendary symbol for both co-op and solo if at all possible so this kinda bums me out. Especially because Waypoint has basically punished me for completing the game at a harder difficulty than legendary.

What I’m wondering is, will my legendary symbol come back if I beat the campaign again on regular co-op legendary? I have some friends that aren’t really great at campaign that would definitely appreciate getting carried through legendary, but I’m not really willing to invest that time unless I’m gonna get my legendary symbol back. I’m hoping this question can be answered by a mod or someone else who has completed LASO and has experience with this issue.

Sounds like a glitch. Maybe you could try running through it again on Legendary, or wait for it to re-appear? Kinda like the Katana on 360 Halo 3.

I might end up trying this, after all I do have a friend that still can’t beat legendary after all this time :wink: It’s just that after LASO, campaign is the last thing I feel like doing tbh, and I still have to go thru it on solo to get the achievements, so I would be pretty frustrated if I spend another 4-6 hrs of my life on the campaign and it doesn’t come back. That’s why it would be great if someone here knows for sure one way or another whether this will work or not. If no one replies though I’ll probably just do it and see what happens.

I am unsure if this is a glitch, accidental deletion of the LASO Difficulty photo (Which would cause the 8 of 8 to appear), or 343i’s attempt to try to cover who did LASO out of privacy reasons for the people who accomplished this. I do know others who have 8 of 8 completed who completed LASO. I don’t think it can be fixed, as I think it is an issue on 343i’s end.

If they really are doing it to protect privacy (which I doubt) that is one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard, especially since they give you an emblem that’s basically meant to be shown off. More than likely 343 just has yet another glitch in their systems. What’s unfortunate is I doubt this will ever get fixed considering h5 is pretty much right around the corner.

I do think I’ll still go through the campaign again just to be 100% sure. Thanks for your input though, I really appreciate it and at least now I won’t have my hopes up.
