I’ve put up with so many problems over the past few days trying to complete the game co-op on Legendary with freezing and disconnecting issues; had to do Two Betrayals over 3 days because it wasn’t working.
We just completed The Maw, watched the final cutscene, Sarge hugged the Elite. At the end my co-op partner (the host) was returned to the main menu and his achievements popped. However, I got connection lost and was returned to the menu with no achievements and no progress. It says I haven’t completed The Maw.
I should have gotten the following 6 achievements: Greenhorn, Birth of a Spartan, Believe in a Hero, Living Legend, Before and After, The Maw.
You can see that I have the achievement This Side Up which is awarded at the end of the level before the cutscene, so there’s proof I made it. My co-op partner’s gamertag is Angry Goku.
(Long shot) : Any chance my profile could be updated to have the progress completed and the achievements unlocked?
EDIT: Info to help you solve this problem - The same thing happened to the co-op partner that time. Whoever is not host gets disconnected after the final cutscene. The achievements should be changed to pop at the start of the cutscene so everyone will get them.
I’m worried about playing through the other games now. Especially when Halo 3 is 4-player co-op, will we really need to run through the final level 4 times?
Same thing just happened to me and my friend. He was hosting and got all the achievements while and I got jack. And this is after the 1.2GB patch I just had to download. So, really, you guys (343) couldn’t be bothered to fix such a blatant and frustrating bug in the giant patch you just shoved out?
This issue just happened too me. Worked hard for those achievements and thanks to 343’s incompetence I now get no achievements for maw completion. Cool though way to release a half finished game you -Yoinking!- idiots.
