Anyone know of a way to rid the lag on cooperative campaign for halo 3? Me and my buddies were trudging through LASO the other day on chief collection and got to the end of the level then it booted us all out after 4 hours of grinding through that -Yoink-. It laged for us on ODST too but never kicked us out of the game. Is the the co op for master chief collection a synchronous network type? I play in philly and my other friend plays in portland so whoever hosts is usually the only one to get a pretty lag free game. Any ideas how to fix this, if any.
How is your consoles connected to your routers? Wired connection is preferred.
A stand alone modem with a external router is preferred as well.
What are your ISP speeds UP and down?
Cable, DSL or wireless ISP? Wireless ISP is not recommended for online gaming with others.
Be sure all MCC games are updated. There was a known lag issue when it first came out. Was resolved in updates. I’ve played MCC since then and many CoOp games, no major lag.
