Co-Op issues Halo 4 - using Xbox 360 and Xbox One

I got my first copy of Halo 4 with my original Xbox 360 and my second copy through Xbox One’s backwards compatibility offering.

I have been trying to get either Spartan Co-Op to work via Xbox Live, or even the Co-Op Campaign via system link and in both cases the game just boots us out at roughly the same points in the game every time - and its normally about 15 mins… So it works initially and then crashes even with all chat muted etc… Is this a game bug, a network issue or is the Xbox One 360 not really compatible with actually 360 gameplay on the same network? I have even tried connecting the 360 via a different internet connection and gotten the same results.

Just as we get into it - its over.

Is this a known issue - can it be solved?

Seems like it could be a bug with certain parts of missions. Does it happen at the same points in a mission? Are you hard-wired Ethernet for your connection? Are your NAT restrictions set as Open? These are all things to try and help.

The same thing happens to me, but in anything on Halo 4. I have a 360 and my friend has a One but it still kicks us out. You can get longer playing time out of it by having the Xbox One set his console speed to 360 standards and both of you set your network to Xbox Live Party only. Remember it gives you longer play time but does not fix it. Also anyone else having trouble playing matchmaking with 360? It kicks me out as soon as a match starts.
