I have input lag in co-op, how do I fix it? My friend always hosts it and his internet is fast as hell with something around 70-100+ MB/s so does it have to do with the host? My internet? Or what? It’s annoying asf
Its a problem a lot of people experience, me as well during everyone of the LASO play throughs my buddy and I have done so far. It’s very slight for me and easy to get used to and still play good so It doesn’t bother me much now. Although I’m the one who knows most of the skips/tricks in the games and with the slight delay it’s really hard to get the timing down on certain stuff. I have no idea on a fix though, we also both have good internet.
I personally can’t stand it, it’s playable but it’s still very annoying and it makes the game a lot less fun, especially if I’m trying to sneak a plasma grenade on my friend just to hear his reaction 
That’s a shame. Co-op is a lot of fun, when it’s working.
Do you notice if some versions of Halo are more lag-prone than others? (CE, 2, 3, ODST, 4). Or do they all give the same amount of lag?

I don’t notice a difference between any of the games lag wise. H3 does have some stability issues frame rate wise which adds to the frustration of having lag. I also don’t have issues until I practice a level before hand solo then jump into a co-op session. Being adjusted to it or not though it’s still frustrating.
Well, now when me and my cousin started halo 2, there still is input lag but just a little tiny almost unnoticeable amount, but that’s no problem I can deal with that but the game keeps disconnecting me for no reason at random times (about 20+ minutes of playing maybe?) And my internet and my friend’s internet is completely fine we can still talk on the party and our internet still works like it always does even though I get disconnected

So I can deal with the input lag but now in quarantine zone it has become super unplayable! Like really unplayable! I was in the elevator thing that takes me to the library after the cut scene and my friend was still outside in the snow, he was still next to me and I saw everything he was doing but he told me he was in a completely other place and he was right because he was walking into walls and shooting nothing, he said the same for him except I was next to him. He didn’t even see the cut scene it’s like we were both playing alone but seeing each other anyways… Why does this happen??
