In Reach, all my matchmaking co op games had this delay from when you pressed a button and the game responded. I have had no problem with co op in other games, like Halo 3, CoD, and BF3. People said it was my Internet, but every other game mode works fine for me, so. Think it’s the game’s problem. I hope they fix this issue for Spartan Ops.
I have that problem sometimes. It’s connection/network issues. I’m no computer wiz or whatever, but I know it’s not my fault.
I read that apparently the way reach was coded, multiplayer and campaign had completely different coding. For example, in multiplayer, you’re not host but have terrible connection, only you lag because it’s only you. However for campaign, even if you host and have perfect connection, if the other person has poor connection it’ll just suck all the resources up and even make the host lag, happened with firefight as well. It’s terrible.
That’s just your internet connection, to put it simply.
Co-op uses a different network model to matchmaking, and if it takes you a while to recieve packets then you’ll experience delays and lag.
Well, I hope 343 took notes on this.
It’s because whoever is hosting cannot support all players. Its most likely not just your connection alone.

It’s been going since Halo 3, so they best have taken LOTS of notes.
