You can do that challenge in split-screen co-op as well. Just sign in a guest, leave him standing wherever he spawns (he might die once or twice but that doesn’t matter), and just do the speed run as you normally would.

This is what I am attempting to do. But I keep running into the problem of the Grunts waking up after I assainate the Elite on the bridge. And then everyone is awake and the turrets take me out in the forklift. And the one time I did get the forklift to the gate, I couldn’t get through the -Yoink!- gate in time! Any suggestions on how to keep the Grunts from waking up?

Wait for the Elite to have his back turned to go in for a melee kill. This will not wake up the grunts.
As for the door, you will need to align your Spartan between the crack of the two doors. Make sure you’re close to the door too. It won’t work if theres a little gap between you and the door.
I completed this in co-op campaign, on Heroic, in just a little over 7 minutes… but it didn’t give me the credits. And I didn’t end the game until it loaded up the next mission. What the hell?!?
