Co-Op cross-play between all Halo MCC games

Only Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST got co-op with this update. Please give us cross-play implementation for all Halo MCC games including Halo Reach, Halo CEA, Halo 2A, and Halo 4. It is disappointing that to play with different people on different platforms I personally need to have the game installed on PC and Console.

I assume they’re working on all of them. It would be very strange to just leave it at 3 and ODST.

Like the others have said, I think we’ll end up getting crossplay for all of the titles eventually. I’m more concerned about connection quality. All of my friends live at least many hundreds of miles away from me (Or more), so dedicated servers would be amazing, and at this point necessary to get my friends to play with me.

Another great thing would be Campaign matchmaking across all games. A lot of people these days haven’t played any Halo campaign coop, and that’s a real core experience. It could even spur some people to use a mic, helping the social aspect of the game.

Another thing would be making Halo CE and 2, 4 player coop capable. That would require a bit more work, but would ultimately worth is so 4 player parties can play through all the games together.

It would appear that the campaign netcode is still synchronous for H3/ODST which means input delay will be larger than normal for off host players. Unless they change everything to be async I don’t think we can expect campaign matchmaking. They’ve also stated previously how campaign matchmaking was a mostly negative experience due griefing.

They did say that the cross-play co-op for H3/ODST is an experimental feature kind of how the CGB started with Reach first for a week as a sort of open beta (it happened last year around this time) and then later added the CGB to MCC officially and added games to it. I think that they’ll do that with cross-play co-op.

can you use system link to connect PC and Xbox one for co-op campagin without live gold on the XB1??
