Co-Op Campaign

I know the game has been out for a little less than a week, and I haven’t found a forum post about this
But is anyone having the same problem as me when trying to join a friend for co-op and the game will just not let you connect. You will just sit at the loading screen of the mission and it’ll sometimes make random noises such as the shield’s dropping. I’ve found it in H2A I was able to join my friend’s game once or twice but then after that when we would boot up the campaign the game will just stay on the loading screen then bringing you to the main menu saying “Lost connection to host” or “Game session is full”. I’ve had it also in H:CE it will have trouble as well connecting at times the timer before the mission starts or a cut scene will just go to zero even thought you are connected to you co-op partner.

Yup, same issue with H2A coop, first trying to join a friend through the MCC interface doesn’t work, we needed to restart MCC and then join by inviting my friend to my game through the Xbone interface.

Then once we try to start an H2A coop caimpaing it doesn’t connect when loading the level, it returns the party leader to the menu first, then disconnects the other player later.
The MCC on my end and its lobby still thinks my friend is still connected to the party when I try to hit B to get out of the lobby it asks me if I want to bring my friends in the lobby with me, obviously, no one but me is really in the lobby at that point.

H:CE Anniversary works in coop though, but the terminal’s videos… if you don’t watch them fully and try to return to MCC by quitting the video player app, then you loose control in MCC and are forced to restart the game -_-

GG 343, the hell did you guys “code”, seriously, this is some half baked mess its not just the matchmaking, the UI and interfaces/network code is obviously buggy, unfinished, untested and clearly has some rookie mistakes.

This looks like it didn’t go through Microsoft’s xbox games certification or went through it in a rush, normally I hear MS is a pain with their game certification process and will not let developers release a game with any kind of common bugs, this clearly was rushed to get release in time and MS clearly forced the hand and the certification/QA testing wasn’t done properly.

I agree, this game is a half baked mess. There are significant issues with every part of it.

It’s so funny that they’re delaying the patch as it goes through testing and certification. Perhaps that would have been a good idea for the package in general.

The co-op loading issue only happens on select missions.

I easily solved it by starting the mission before it and playing until I get to the one I want to play. (Not the best fix but I’m at least playing instead of complaining.)
