Well if we learned anything about Halo 5 from this, it’s that the traditional announcer has been replaced with a female in pre-game that tells about the map and its lore instead of the gametype and your goal. Also the “5 minutes remaining” sounds like it was pulled straight out of Halo 3 instead of being fresh. Team CoCo might have just done this to avoid copyright issues with Microsoft, but that wouldn’t make much sense seeing how they endorsed this playtest. Hell, we even see Josh Holmes playing for Conan during the video. So what could this mean about the announcer voices…?
Really love Conan. My buddy got me into watching Conan shows after he showed me the episode of them being recording into Halo 4… Funny as.
That was great. I hope Conan and Andy get an easter egg in H5 like they did in H4.

I was thinking about this too. For Warzone, it sounds like Sarah Palmer is the person talking, and Arena sounds like a different girl (I think). Honestly, it was really refreshing. I’m so sick of the old announcer at this point. His voice just kept getting weirder with each game

Or, more likely, it was a girl from the show that was “announcing” rather than it being in-game. Seeing as how she introduced the teams with the people’s names and whatnot, it clearly wasn’t an in-game thing. I wouldn’t worry about Jeff being gone.
That was extremely entertaining though! Not only did we get some good look at the changes in Halo 5, we also got to see some hilariously bad players have a good time!
