This has happened on several occasions first while doing the ark on halo three then on oracle 7 times. Then its happened now during halo 2 regret we were killing the prophet and then the mission closed (this was on legendary) saying i haven’t completed the mission.

I have experienced this with halo 2 when playing legendary and achievement hunting. i believe there are bugs after certain missions that don’t save your progress if u leave after them
