Upon opening the Halo 5 ‘Forge’ app/game, I get the message that says, “Your computer does not meet the minimum system requirements. You may encounter performance or stability issues.”
Then I have the two options, to continue or close.
Neither work.
The game crashes/closes/stops, whatever you want to say, after I click continue.
I’ve been around many places. Nothing has helped.
I have met all system requirements except Video Memory and Directx12/ Hardware Feature 11. I have Directx12 installed, and Video Memory shouldn’t prevent me from playing any game.
I have an AMD FX™-4100 Quad-Core Processor with 8GB of RAM, and 1024MB of my total 4864MB of Total Available Graphics Memory (which I can’t change, even within BIOS)

Actually, not having enough video memory will definitely affect your ability to play a game. If I may ask, what kind of video card are you using? Judging by your description, it sounds like you’re using a laptop without a discreet video card?

I know not have having enough video memory will affect a game, but it has never affected me opening/launching/ playing a game. It obviously affects my performance.
I’m using the AMD Radeon HD 6670 on a Desktop. (Would never attempt playing on a laptop)

Yeah, I have a Radeon HD6970, and it’s not good enough either. Unfortunately, our cards are too old to be able to support the game. Like you, my issue is that my video card does not support DirectX12, even if you do have it installed, so it won’t work.
And forgive me for the assumption. I’ve seen people ask if their Surface tablets could play the game, so you never know…

Ah, alright. Well that sucks. Thanks anyways. Time for an upgrade… yay… money I don’t have.

Yeah, I know the feeling man… I need to get a new video card as well, but thankfully we have Boxing Day sales for that, right?
