Remember Cave Johnson from Portal 2? He was in the state the Halo players are in:“When life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons, what the hell am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? Most of it is nostalgia, you can’t blame them. The children are the ones with grammar errors, the ones who have nothing constructive to say, and the ones who thought 343 made this a money grab. If it was, there’s no point in adding playlists to Halo 4, just leave the game and ditch the community. But that’s exactly what they DIDN’T do. 343 worked hard, and yes, this game was pretty fun, I’ll be playing this for a whole year, but they still have MUCH to improve.

Except the Majestic maps wholly satisfied me. It’s just the exclusion of Lighting CTF this week and the Castle maps all being massive that ruined my day.

Totes nostalgia brah. Battle Rifle can die in a fire Lightrifle is better.
A lot of the complaints are legitimate. Stuff like Flinch, Perks and Personal Ordnance were never needed for Halo 4 to be great.
People can question the features 343 added to the game, there is nothing saying they can’t.
343 worked hard on this game, like every other developer. Do I think they did well? Yes. Do I think they are the right guys for the job? Yes. Do I think they need to improve? Yes.
This is their first game, we need to provide constructive criticism for them to help them build a better future for Halo Multiplayer and to do that, we need to question the features they added, otherwise they will never know.

I’m tired of seeing people complaining about complainers. Get over it. People are understandably annoyed with the game, the “issues” are a little more extreme than that.
The game is severely broken, and people will complain until something is done about it.

I never said Halo 4 was perfect, I was talking about the people in the forums. As a long time Halo fan, i still have issues with Halo games. And believe me I dont try to hide that fact. But i dont go out of my way to let people know whats wrong with the game. Or whats good about it. I just want people to calm down. And try and see things from both sides. I guess its too much to ask.

then stop being such a hypocrite and complain/criticize, because that’s what you are, you are complaining about people who are voicing their opinions about this game, when you have your own complaints/issues

Obviously you arent understanding what ive said. Or it wasnt clear enough. I dont like the people that “whine”, that -Yoink- about every little detail and say “343 is a terrible developer” and say what should be fixed.
The people that have a long list of their complaints, that give detailed reasons why they dont like the game is acceptable.
Whining- The vehicles in Halo 4 are terrible, its nothing like older Halo games, 343 doesnt know what they are doing, going back to playing (insert game here).
Complaining- 343 really messed up on the vehicles in Halo 4. They are weaker than in past games, and spawning with plasma pistols and plasma grenades renders them almost useless.

Vehicles are useless, they are destroyed extremely fast and rendered useless due to plasma pistols and plasma grenades (see Warthog).
Red Xs being gone eliminate a stronger sense of team play. You are no longer able to shout out where the enemies are, as nobody knows where you died.
Static weapon spawns being taken out, ordnance put in. Luck comes into the mix, no longer fighting for an edge in the game, you fight hoping you get a decent weapon to take out your enemy. The forge maps with static weapons instantly feel more Halo.
Theres some faults in the game. You didnt even bother to read anything on this page before you typed that out. (Yes now im frustrated)

Tell what is wrong with not complaining about downgraded custom game options, Forge and Theater. I’ll wait.

Well when they have yet to offer solutions to custom game options, have said they will not fix Theater and offer a “classic playlist” that is barely that comes around, not everybody is going to be happy they finally offered smaller maps.
