(CQB)
The intent of the MJOLNIR Mark VI Powered Assault Armor/C variant was to improve survivability in close combat, specifically by looking at alternate methods of K dispersal and improving joint mobility.
Having the shoulder armor, lower allowed for full range of motion.
Kinetic dispersal means deflecting punches and impacts or dispersal of energy upon impact.

It won’t look the same as the original, just because the engine and stuff, thats why all the remakes look different.
The “remakes” are terrible.
They decimator-ed the mark variants.
At least the reach armors aren’t that bad.

Dynast, was a disappointment.
It looks good, but not the cqb I was wanting.

I’ve liked this helmet since it was used I a teaser for halo 3. (Weilding a flamethrower)
I have never taken it off in halo 3 or reach, not even to eat.

I’ve made better CQB helmets by hand.

You sure those slots shouldn’t be reserved for the many terrible Halo 4/5 armor?
You would think it would be stuff like Seeker, goblin, fotus?
I’d rather have armors with functional differences rather than just aesthetic differences.
Won’t lie, CQB was one of my favorite helmet.
Dynast looks really good, but it’s no CQB. Not even close.

Cqb does have functional differences.
1- first halo armor with a knife (ingame)
2- shoulder armor deflects impact.
2.5- shoulder armor is lower and designed to allow unrestricted arm movement.
3- helmet provides face protection, namely the cheeks. To absorb shock.
3.5- the helmet has no Flat / broad surfaces making impacts / punches less effective.

Not to mention the low openings present in the base armor, mark 6.

Mark IV looks pretty close to its original but Mark V is far out the window. Halo 4 introduced us to the ‘‘new’’ Mark VI design, it also remained the same for Halo 5. The thrusters aint really why they’re redesigning 'em that much… Honestly go look at Mark V and tell me if the helmet alone needed to look like it does.

If 343i would recreate CQB the same way they recreated Mark IV and Noble helmets (as in, not change a single damn thing about it), then I would be ecstatic! I absolutely loved CQB and have been missing it dearly since Halo Reach.
However, seeing at what they’ve done with every other armour they’ve “recreated”, such as Mark V Alpha, Recon, Mark VI helmet, GUNGNIR, Dynast, then no, definitely not. I’m tired of 343i taking our beautiful armours and destroying them just to make them different.

When i think of the CQB helmet in halo 3, it always reminds me of the bks running around double wielding anything or using needler, as well as those who picked up the chaingun just to get sniped, Lol.
If this helmet will have a comeback, then I demand the rogue helmet back also !
