ok you guys all know about long to mid range strafing with the dmr/br so you opponent well get one less shot then you but what about in close range were both players are using full automatic weapons how do you strafe in such close quarters so what should i do
gandhi hop like all the little -Yoink- do. (Jump + mash crouch)
Just strafe left to right and close the gap them give em the shmackey
Strafing and hopping still seems to work last I checked, plus melee if you are close enough.
Try to strafe around them. Also jumping over them.
Yeah,as said previously, I just jump and crouch. It’s kinda hard to strafe with automatic weapons though.
There really is no solution here, just preference. However, melee comes into play at this range. Know your variables.

While strafing and hoping help tremendously the real key to beating automatic weapons at close range is to start moving back. The further you are the less accurate their weapon is and increases your chances of surviving.
Remember, you have the more accurate weapon. As long as you don’t panic and strafe backwards they’re totally helpless. I’ve seen a lot of people try to run at me while using an AR and to be honest I just kill them a lot faster and I know they’re panicking so I tend to get the upper hand.
Another good technique is hiding, move quickly into cover (make sure you land a few shots before going completely into cover) and when you hear the shooting stop and your confident that they’re reloading pop back out and finish them off. Chances are they think they have you on the run when in reality your leading them into a death trap.
Some times you’ll find yourself in a tough spot where you can do any of these things and your kind of cornered… This can be problematic and a bit harder to make a kill. This is why you have a secondary! Pull that -Yoink- out and unload! Boltshot is like a mini shotgun and if their shield is down you can easily land a head shot. Plasma pistol can take down their shield and then its all a matter of beating the living -Yoink- out of em!
Or if you’re really cool like myself you can rock the BR with the DMR and use the DMR to wreak that shield and then use the BR’s spread to land a swipe shot. Also bumper jumper works wonders. Once you got it down you should see a huge increase in your k/d. By a few thousand. xD
