Everyone has those problems and that’s why so many people don’t play it. If you want perfections go back to your base and camp with a Boltshot or something.
The fact that this is allowed to go on is ridiculous and there is no way to counter it unless you have somebody go out as bait and be ready to snipe him, even then its iffy.
Campers are a well known problem, some will suggest using PV, flushing out with nades. I find them easier when you use team work, use bait then have someone kill them.
RAG. and Complex I find the most annoying AC-Sniper/DMR campers this excluding BS/AC user which is pretty much utilized on any map.
Active Camo as an Armor Ability was always a blight on Halo. It went from a power up to a utility. Imagine what would happen if the same thing were to happen to overshields.
Active Camo needs to go.
I’m pretty sure that was me , sorry . iSnipe .
Im sorry to say but i am one of those snipers. I love sniping. I have a loudout called sniper that has camo and infinite sprint so i can rush the weapon. I also have that extra ammo perk so i get heaps of ammo.
However I usually spend my time sniping their team sniper. I try to win games not by getting points but by preventing their points (killing their vehicles etc etc)
So maybe have someone on your team sniper them? Im always in sniper duals.
When i snipe their sniper, i wait on their body, because they always try to rush grab their dropped weapon once or twice. Giving me a few easy kills and stopping their sniper.
I’ll put the last 2 bullets into an evasive banshee to help the team.
here are some tips to stop them:
1: Snipe them back
2: DMR- keep scoping them out.
3: Go in for the kill. Most snipers carry a DMR, so if they miss the Headshot they can finish of with a DMR shot to save that 1 bullet. Therefore they have no close range weapons. Go in with an AR, or BR or something.
4: Vehicles. Banshees/warthogs are good at flushing them out.
5: Team coordination and callouts, work as a team to suppress him.
6: simply avoid. Pay attention to his lines of sight and where you play.
Hope this helped.

Invis snipers are the scourge of the Halo community.

I’m sorry, but this is no longer a feature. Another thing that has changed not for the better.
first it was wah wah about AL back in Reach and now its about camo in Halo 4 lol play something else
Remember back in Halo 3 when people grabbed sniper they DIDN’T stay in base and attempt to snipe?
How is everyone so hard to see when using Active Camo?
When I try to use it, I stay perfectly still, but players can still find out where I am in less than 2 seconds. Honestly.
get rid of camo and the boltshot
I’m one of them!

That’s not something to be proud of…
Hmm, I went 36-4 on BTB while camo sniping. It’s a legitimate strategy.
Simple answer:
You can’t counter it on big maps. And that’s why camo as an AA is still OP, just like in Reach. And btw even if you were in range of the camo guy with your PV - if the camo dude as the stealth perk, you can’t see him behind walls.
Camo > unbalanced and needs to go as an AA. 343i could have made it as a power up in ODs. But no, of course not.
If you can’t counter it, it’s broken.

Exactly. Camo should be a powerup, like it was intended to be.

There’s a problem with those solutions though. We CAN’T freakin’ SEE YOU. We have to wait for you to make a move before any of those will work. And that means you get a free kill because we don’t know where you are.
camo would be balanced if they fixed the -Yoinking!- glitch where the user does not spawn any blue dots on map and then completly disappears off of it. they also need to make it that if you are in camo then when you shoot it turns off and must recharge not this min long invisibility while shooting
