So Cliffhanger and Atom were removed some time ago now. When will 343 replace these maps? I don’t understand why they would remove them and not have new maps ready right away. I think cliffhanger was great in FFA and atom was great with multi team headhunter, although alot of people won’t agree with me. Those play list are in desperate need of some forge maps anyway.
OMG i didn’t even notice they removed those maps! Cliffhanger was like one of my favorite maps! i always did really well on rumble pit there! Maybe they removed it coz they dont like Larz baken! XD

Cliffhanger was the worst map ever created by human kind. Matchmaking is better off without it.
Atom was a quite bad map, but I didn’t even care that much about it. Pratically all maps are quite bad in Reach so it wasn’t such a huge deal.
There was an updated version of Atom in MM. That was nice. Wonder why that was took away.
I hated both of these maps. Also there are so many grey and blue maps two of them won’t be missed.
The worst map in the history of FPS games is Sword Base. Pinnacle/Ascension is a close second. Atom is 3rd.

Ok thanks I didn’t see that. But I still find it strange that they already removed the maps and not have something new ready right away. I agree that the forge maps are kinda ugly looking but I care more about the variety of gameplay.
There are already plenty of maps in matchmaking, they don’t necessarily have to be replaced.
I was actually just talking to a friend last night about how much I hated cliffhanger, and how glad I was to never have to play it again. Atom was terrible too, so it’s good to see that gone as well. I’m a customs guy, so play amazing maps that are somehow overlooked by 343 all the freaking time. The community cartographers are too self serving to push the majority of these in front of 343’s eyes. It’s sad really, and how we ended up with BS like atom (or… oh god… -Yoinking!- kingdom) in MM in the first place.
Cliffhanger I did not care for. However Atom was my FAVORITE snipers map and they removed it… =(
