So before you people continue with this bandwagon of Halo 2 being the glory days of Halo… it’s not. It was the glory days of ONLINE Halo, but the TRUE glory days of Halo stand with Halo 1. Simple.

I, for one, do believe Halo 2’s multiplayer was far better than any other’s in the series, however am I going to say you’re absolutely incorrect if you disagree? Of course not. We all have our opinions, none are better than others.

PS: Halo2 being your favourite should not blind you to it’s mechanics. Embrace Halo2’s noobiness and get it back. Claim you want skillful gameplay and nothing but and CE or 2 will never return.
Just watch the video for the CE parts too. See how the Pistol and PR projectiles bend when the reticle is beside but not touching the target? That’s the vector correction/bullet magnetism that some players claim never existed in CE in the first place.
CE has huge amounts of assists and I still love it. I just won’t act like a parent whose blind to their child’s actions out of fear that the love will diminish if I open my eyes.

I believe he could not beat H2 CMP on Legendary so he threw a hissy-fit, and continues on and on. A lot of trolls have been made that way, the game is just too difficult for them on Legendary.
On Topic: Halo 2’s Multiplayer Online really allowed me to express my love of the franchise to other people. I felt a strong kinship and I think many Halo 2 players felt the same as well.

What I said is not an opinion, it is fact.
I’m saying that Halo 2 far less skill than Halo 1 - Fact.
Halo 2 was way more casual friendly than Halo 1 - Fact.

Anyone who says “skill”, “casual” and “fact” in a sentence on a Halo forum takes Halo multiplayer far too seriously and therefore cannot be taken seriously.
That video is horrible, First off 90% of the time he was aiming slightly closer to the halo 2 guy, second he shot the snipers intentionally at those times, third, adding lunge and plasma pistol tracking isn’t making anything “more noob friendly” The video is done by some random biased person. Tell me, is a indestructible warthog, scorpion ect not noob friendly? Is a 3 shot pistole not noob friendly? You have no idea what you’re talking about.

LOL! I’m talking about gameplay mechanics guy… And yes, a 3 shot Pistol is NOT newb-friendly because it was the 2nd most skill-based weapon in all of Halo other than the Halo 1 Sniper. Just because it can kill fast, doesn’t mean it’s easy.
Simple logic should be simple. Find me ONE person who can constantly get 3 shot kills and you’ll win the world. On average, it was about 5-7 shots in a competitive shootout…
