This is the name of the man responsible for halo 4 being launched in such a mess.
As executive producer he is directly responsible for making sure all teams on the project work in harmony.

He is also responsible for making sure work is done and done correctly.
He will have organized the development from funding and concept to the date it hit’s shelf’s.

Basically. If it has anything to do with the logistics of making the game he has final say. So the reason we have no UI that has “best connection” ect is because he failed to make sure the team making the match making UI and the team doing the xbox live programming failed to interact correctly.

Like wise. He failed to ensure the people responsible for xbox live marketplace
had the DLC content and promotional access worked out.
Something he would of been very much in charge of doing as they would of needed to interact with xbox live (out of house).

Yea. Basically. the fact halo 4 is a poorly tested. terribly implemented sham is down to the lead producer. It’s their Job to make sure the finished product is correct. and to manage everything along the way.
They are the person who goes between the creative sides of development and tech/programming making sure both sides understand each other.

In short. It’s [CLASSIFIED] fault and he should be held responsible

Well this is new.

An interesting thread, I haven’t seen anything like this before, calling out an individual from the company.

But as much as I detest many of Halo 4’s new changes, additions and subtractions, I feel that calling out individuals that may or may not be directly responsible isn’t really right either. Personally I’d just boycott the franchise and not purchase any DLC or future Halo games.

That’s what I’ll be doing at least, and by the sounds of it, many others too.

Trust me. He is neck deep in it.
I’ve done production for Animation projects in media. The producer is the core.
The exec producer then oversee’s everything.
Producer’s basically run the show. directors are all about the vision and style.
They say what they want. The producer makes it happen.

But more so. They are 100% responsible for making sure all teams are co-ordinated
and co-operative. It’s their Job and they get paid A LOT to do it.
They also are the one’s sat in the bored rooms with Microsoft saying whats what.

I don’t know what you expect to get out of this, from his perspective Halo 4 was a success no matter what anyone says, want to know why? Because it sold really well, and it got (mostly) positive reviews.

It is mostly a success in my eyes, I’m sorry that it is not in yours, but calling out an individual will gain you nothing.
